Message An import agent has people visiting the auction houses to do full inspections on the cars before they are bid on. A decent agent will provide you with a detailed written report & a ton of photos of the whole car, underbody included, so you can make an informed decision.
Check out [ www.skyinesaustralia.com ] for more general info on the cars themselves plus there's an excellent 'Importing' sub-forum with heaps of info. Many of the Australian importers also import to Canada so should be able to help you out too.

Currently the market for bnr32's in Japan is picking up, good high quality examples with genuine documents low mileage will cost us au$25-30k delivered but you can pick up cheap ones any day of the week.

In Australia where bnr34's are reasonably common (as they all are now) the price of higher mileage examples is only just dropping below au$40k, a nur will still cost you $80k plus.

I'd definitely recommend looking into a GTR if you can afford it, fantastic cars.
